I love Loch Doon. Usually quiet and not on the main tourist drag so you tend to have th Loch almost to yourself, especially at the southerly point.

Parking Information

Some parking in the layby/pull in next to the launch point. Or there's a load of parking further down the road near the river and bridge, but it's a longer walk.

Paddling Information

Very relaxed paddle. Would say this is a more difficult get in point than the northern end of Loch Doon but even newbies should be fine.
