Description

A northerly launch point on the Lancaster canal. You can head north where it is a shorter trip but no locks, or south where it's no locks for a long while until you near Lancaster but it's a long journey. Just a nice little canal with less than usual shopping trollies.

Parking Information

Free parking at launch site but limited to maybe 10/12 vehicles. Could probably also stay overnight here if van camping. Actual campsite is a very short walk too

Beginner friendly, less portages north but there aren't many portages at all here. Just a nice canal
